Sea Roses
The Sea Roses along the shore are so fragrant this time of year. They seem to bloom most of the summer. But in the early fall, when everything else starts to fade away, the roses seem to flourish. Holbein watercolors in a Stillman and Birn Beta Sketchbook.
Falmouth Heights

New Colors

Yellow Flower

McLaren F1
The McLaren F1 is a beautiful super car. The hand built sports car was designed by Gordon Murray, had been working on a one-plus-two seating configuration since 1969. Twenty years later, his innovative arrowhead concept came to fruition in the F1. Pentel mechanical pencil with HB lead in a Stillman and Birn sketchbook.
White Cone Flowers
A new addition to our garden that should flourish next summer. We had the purple cone flowers, but these are white with yellow or green centers. Holbein and Daniel Smith watercolors in a Stillman and Birn sketchbook.
Tree Light
A beautiful dinner at the Rye Tavern in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Dining Al Fresco under the stars. There were a number of these lanterns hanging in the trees and mini lights wrapped around the trunks. U MASS Dartmouth
The annual Flattest Century in the East was today. The bike ride starts at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and has distances of 30,54,62 and 100 miles. It is a very well organized ride with around 2,000 riders. I only rode the 30 miles this year due to knee issues. The architecture at the campus is classified as brutalism. The buildings and master plan were created by Paul Rudolph, who was sometimes referred to as the worst architect in America. The buildings are all formed concrete with no warmth or human scale.
