I saw this little scooter in the parking lot of the club I was working at. I love the lines of classic scooters and thought I just had to sketch this. Lamy Safari with Noodler’s black ink and Holbein watercolors in a Stillman and Birn sketchbook.

Garden Fountain II
We spent a very nice Father’s Day at my In-laws house. The weather was beautiful sitting on the patio listening to the fountain spilling into the pool. The blue on the water is too much and should be more subtle with a little darker background. Garden Fountain
After a long day of yard work, I was able to clean and setup the garden fountain off of our front porch. It is so calming to hear the water splashing and the songs of the birds in the background. Lamy fountain pen with Noodler’s black ink and Holbein watercolors in a Stillman and Birn sketchbook.
Dinghies
After dinner in Plymouth, Massachusetts, we went for a walk along the waterfront. There were many dinghies tied up along this one dock. The shapes and colors were intriguing. Lamy fountain pen with Noodler’s black ink and Holbein watercolors in a Stillman and Birn Beta sketchbook.
Framingham CC Pool
Another country club project master plan through the office. This is a view of the pool building at Framingham Country Club in Framingham, Massachusetts. The bright orange umbrellas were what drew me to this scene. Lamy Safari fountain pen with Noodler’s black ink and Holbein watercolors in a Stillman and Birn Beta sketchbook.
Little Harbor Jetty
Simple line drawing of a stone jetty at our favorite local beach – Little Harbor in Wareham, Massachusetts. This sketch is from a photograph and was completed with a Lamy Safari fountain pen with Noodler’s black ink in a Stillman and Birn sketchbook.
“I must have flowers, always, and always.” – Claude Monet
A couple of quick sketches of some of the flowers that we have in our garden. They are all perennials and the Lupines and Bleeding Hearts are new this year. Lamy fountain pen with Noodler’s black ink and Holbein watercolors in a Stillman and Birn sketchbook.
Osteria La Civetta
Dinner tonight at the Osteria La Civetta on Main Street in Falmouth, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. A wonderful Italian restaurant with the feel of a small café in Italy. Family owned and wonderful food. Kaleidoscope of Dance
Tonight we attended our final dance recital for our Niece and Nephew. This is a copy of the cover art that was on the program. We have attended for 21 years and it has been an amazing experience with all of the talent displayed by all of the kids. Our niece started and attended for 15 years overlapping with our nephew for 15 years. Excellent ability and poise. Our niece danced with the alumni. Our nephew did both dance and gymnastics and in the final recital, he danced in 8 numbers, 3 solo. We will see more of his talent in that he will minor in dance in college. Fishing Boat
This fishing boar pulled into the dock in Falmouth Harbor in Cape Cod when we were waiting to go to dinner. The boat pulled in and unloaded to a waiting truck (The Clam Man) and was heading back out to sea in about 5 minutes. I love working boats and this was a quick sketch using my Lamy fountain pen with Noodler’s black ink in a Stillman and Birn sketchbook.
