Traveling back from New York from another club presentation, I stopped in Milford Connecticut. There is a wonderful waterfront with lots of marinas and boats. A beautiful part of the coastline in Little Neck, New York. This is actually in the borough of Queens in New York City. A peaceful oasis within the city. This caught my eye with the undulating seawall and the contrast between the bright green grass and the very dark rocks. We spent a very nice Father’s Day at my In-laws house. The weather was beautiful sitting on the patio listening to the fountain spilling into the pool. The blue on the water is too much and should be more subtle with a little darker background. Dinner tonight at the Osteria La Civetta on Main Street in Falmouth, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. A wonderful Italian restaurant with the feel of a small café in Italy. Family owned and wonderful food.
