Black Eyed Susan’s
More flowers from out front yard. We have a mass of Black Eyed Susan’s along our entry walk. They are beautiful flowers and they last for a long time. They look great as a large group. Holbein watercolors in a Stillman and Birn Beta sketchbook.
Raspberries

Garden Tomatoes

Fort Hill
One of the best views on the outer cap is at Fort Hill which is part of The National Seashore which is part of the United States National Park system. Fort Hill is adjacent to the Penniman House, a historical whalers house built in 1868. The view is beautiful of the marshes, barrier islands and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. In the springtime, the fields are bursting with color from the great variety of wild flowers. Today there were pink Sea Roses and white Yarrow. Mount Hope Bay Kayaks
Trying to catch up on some scanning. A beautiful evening for an AIA event at the Bready Sailing Center at Roger Williams University. Fantastic location overlooking Mount Hope Bay and these kayaks were set on the racks waiting to be used. Hibiscus
Beautiful hibiscus flowers in full bloom at the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. Holbein watercolors painted loosely wet in a Stillman and Birn Beta sketchbook.
Lily Field
Driving along the coast from Woods Hole to Falmouth, Massachusetts, we can across an amazing field with 1,000’s of yellow and orange lilies. It was absolutely breath taking. Pilot Falcon fountain pen with Noodler’s Bulletproof black in and Holbein watercolors in a Stillman and Birn sketchbook.
Kousa Dogwood
We have a Kousa Dogwood tree in the front yard of our house. It is a beautiful tree and the blooms are amazing right now. The tree is a waterfall of 4 pedal white flowers than cover the tree all the way to the ground. Holbein watercolors in a Stillman and Birn Beta sketchbook.
Orleans Garden Tour
Today we spent part of the day enjoying a tour of 6 home gardens hosted by the Orleans Garden Club in Orleans, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. The gardens were gorgeous with all of the blooming flowers and lush greens. This view is from a house with 5 acres of woods planted with shade loving plants and a barn that overlooked this small pond.
